Pongol and peanut chutney - doncha wish you had some too?




My dearest made Indian breakfast on Sunday! Pongol is a dish made from rice, lentils, peppercorns and cashews (and a myriad of yummy spices that I can't begin to name). It has the consistency on porridge and you eat it with chutney, ours was PEANUT (my hands-down favorite). No meat, no mess, just good hot eatin'.
